About us

The rich history of the Pollfoss Hotell starts with Christian A. Hjeltar who lived in the Skjåk area. Christain had taken two old cabins apart and brought them to the place where the Pollfoss Hotel now stands. When he arrived at this distinctive place, he put the two cabins back together again. Because Christian A. Hjeltar brought these two old cabins to this location, since 1889, it has become a place for travellers to stay overnight.

Our restaurant
